March somehow became birthday month in my life... Not mine, but just about everyone else I know...
I try to get out B-day cards as best as I can... mostly late, don't know how... but needless to say I have good intentions. I thought that I would do a Birthday tribute to all those who I know have birthday's in March! Happy Birthday March Babes!

Life's Little Blessings

Kraft knows how to market to those in desperate need of 10 minuets without interuption to do just one simple task.... That's right for the low low price of $3.49 a bag (which only lasts about 4 days in my household) I can get 10 min of baby free time! It amazes me that the same cheese, only shredded, is $2.49 for 2 times the amount... but not the same when it comes to a 10 month old feeding herself... the clean-up is definately worth that extra dollar for me! Thank you Kraft for once again giving me the means to spend $28 dollars a month for a little time for myself... wish it was a pedicure I was spending that money on, but nothing beats that face when she sees that bag of cheese!
disclaimer: I realize that the AAP (american academy of pediatrics) suggests that dairy not be introduced until 1 year... well let me tell you what I think about the AAP... well, I think I will keep my comments inside my house today rather than to the blogging world, but if anyone caught Larry King last night talking with a family about the effects of vaccines and autism.... you wouldn't listen to the AAP either!

A day in the park!

We had a phenomenal day in Charleston... 70 degrees! We had fun at the park with some friends! Lucy had fun on the slide all by herself! We are very grateful for the beautiful sunshine!

Midnight Confessionss... of an airline pilot

In Ben's Sunday School class last week, Ben was talking with the kids about their past week. One of the boys,-Sam, told Ben that he had a rough week due to some of the guys giving him a hard time about accidentally walking into the ladies restrooom. Oops!
So last night while talking in bed... Ben tells me about his trip to D.C on Sunday night. And while in the airport waiting for the next flight he was talking with a couple other crew members. He excused himself to go to the restroom... walked in, used the facilities, washed up and began walking out.... until someone else walked in... a woman. Of course they both looked at one another puzzled. She said to Ben, "I thought I came in the right bathroom," turns out... she did infact walk into the right facility... Ben however did not!

A LLL weekend!

We had a fun-filled weekend with the Lenzi girls! Tonya and Katelyn came up from North Carolina and we had a blast! The girls (Lucy and Kate) are exactly 3 months apart... doesn't seem like much, and for most of their lives it won't, but while they are still little 3 months can really make a huge difference! We had fun making our first diaper cake and eating lots of homemade buttercream infused cupcakes! Thanks for a fun weekend!
