a day to remember

This is one of my favorite pictures of our wedding day.... I am putting lip gloss on... of course one of the most important things to remember for pictures... but it is Christian (prounounced like chris-jon) and Don, shaking hands on either side of us that for some reason makes me laugh a little inside.... Maybe because I can think back and remember how furious I was that everyone, and I mean just about everyone stepped on my dress, which pulled out atleast 2 or 3 stitches in the my skirt of my dress everytime. I did not have a train at all, and I am fairly tall so how my dress came so close to the entire worlds feet that day is beyond me! Even the sweet Temple worker who escorted us up the elevator into the Celestial Room stepped on my dress, and the poor poor man, when I gasped for air when I heard the stitches coming undone, he must of thought he had ruined my special day! Well, because I have a memory that haunts me so well, I will have missed out on some of the more special "happier" memories of the day and this one will stay burned into my mind for possibly ever, but today I will reflect back on not only that most beautiful Spring Day in Bellevue Washington and how beautiful and bright the sun was, but I will recount the last few years and how amazing it has been so far, I know it will continue to be more amazing every year! Happy Anniversary to us!

Elephunk

The Circus is in town this weekend and we went to the "elephant walk"
This was really cool... and very entertaining! The PR department sure knows how to entice you to come back for more! Maybe when Lucy is a little older!

and for dessert.... Watermelon! This was so neat to watch!
Elephants are incredible animals!

"too many too soon"

I am going to post about a topic that I feel very strongly about. This comes as my personal opinion and I wish to offend no one, however I do hope that the views I express in this post will open eyes to those whom read it and I wish everyone to do their own personal research.

This question I pose to you... Would you put poisons such as Mercury, Anti-freeze, Ether, or Aluminum into your body?
My hope is that your answer is pretty obvious...NO.
So then my next question is: Why do we trust those medical professionals who are lying to us about Vaccinating our children?

I fully support medical professionals and the good that they provide in our lives and society, however it seems as though when you question why? there is always an answer. We (most of us) take that answer with full trust. But... there is much research to support that these Doctors are in fact totally unaware themselves of the content of the vaccinations, and are giving quoted answers that presumably come from some $250 weekend continuing education seminar that they are required to attend to maintain their medical license.
I support that Vaccinations protect and save lives, but are they causing adverse reactions that are causing this exponential increase in Autism due to the poisons they contain? YES.
How many people would go to the doctor... willingly, knowing that you are going to receive some "medicine" that will undoubtedly leave you with a high fever, lethargic and perhaps incoherent for the next possibly 2-3 days? ..hmmm.... then why do we willingly take our children who do not have a "choice" and with a sticker and a lollipop assure them that everything will be alright.
There is a community of people that the outcome is not "alright" and their voice is beginning to resonate.
My hope is that when that "Mom or Dad instinct" kicks in, you will dig a little deeper and not just take someones word for it. Do your research and find out the risks that your children are being subjected to and then you can make an informed decision as to whether or not you are ready to take on the potentially life-changing outcome of a visit to the doctor.
Jenny McCarthy has a loud voice and it is being heard far and wide... I urge you to listen to what her experience has been. (in this interview I am feeling like she looks... like I want to jump out of my chair when these "professionals" are refuting her points.)

April Fools...

So... because I have somehow managed to live for 18months without a dishwasher some might wonder...? Did Ben play a mean trick on her as an April Fools joke?
NOPE.... this is no joke people... this in fact most prized possession is working and making me feel very happy inside! I have successfully run this piece of fine machinery 4 times in the last 24 hours. The Energy Star label says that it should cost about $19 per year to run... pretty efficient huh? Well, I will surpass that amount probably 10 times over in the month of April alone... if anyone has been unfortunate enough to be without this necessity you will appreciate where I am coming from! I always say that I was born in the wrong time, I often wish that I grew up in the 40's-50's.... but then reality sets in that there were no such thing as air conditioning, blowdryers, DISHWASHERS, so what I am really meaning when I say that is... I love the clothes... and the thought of going to the soda shop after school, riding my bike back home to our "sub-division" with children running around outside... you know just like the movies!
So it is not a trick... it is for real! Thank you Ben!

although the countertops are not completed, and the floor is not yet re-finished... I couldn't be a happier girl with this gorgeous new kitchen! It feels good to have a room in your practically 100 year old house that feels like you belong there!
